Music Together® Babies class 0-8m

This class is for parents/caregivers and their children eight months and younger at the time of registration. Every child’s development benefits from early exposure to music and movement. Because the early months are so important, TCU Music Prep offers two options for babies. Babies eight months and younger may take the special Babies Class offered as a one-semester introduction to Music Together or they may attend a Mixed Ages Class. Babies four months and younger may attend the Mixed Ages class free with their registered older sibling. The music activities and materials are specially designed for parents who want to learn about music development in infants. Families enrolled in this class have the opportunity to share these musical activities at home. Materials include two compact discs of songs introduced in class, a songbook for parents, and an appropriate rhythm instrument for each child. Classes meet for 30 minutes once a week for 16 weeks (fall & spring semesters) and 8 weeks in the summer. Class size is a minimum of 5 children and a maximum of 12 children.
