Keith Critcher, native of Boone, NC, received his Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Appalchain State University, 1983 and his Master of Music degree from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, 1986. He is an active teacher, accompanist, and choral director throughout Dallas/Fort Worth. In addition to teaching in the TCU Prep School for 8 years, Keith is the Director of The Harris Chorale of Harris Methodist Hospital, FW; Staff Accompanist at Texas Wesleyan University; Minister of Music at East Dallas Christian Church; and plays for Nordstrom stores. He has been musical director for several productions at Lyric Stage, Irving; Water Tower Theater, Addison; and has accompanied several productions and groups including Dallas Summer Musicals, "My Fair Lady;" and The Singing Girls of Texas. He has also performed with members of the Fort Worth Symphony in the Spectrum Series. His performances of Vaughn Williams' On Wenlock Edge and Poulenc's Sextet received critical acclaim for ensemble artistry by the Star Telegram. For fun, Keith tours with Soprano, Colleen Mallette in the operatic spoof, "The Lamaze School of Singing presents "How to Birth a Song." The two went global in 2001, where they received rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
