Meg Kennedy

Meg Kennedy is originally from Kansas where she grew up surrounded by music as a child.  She has played the piano and flute for 30 years.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Southwestern College and went on to get her Doctorate of Optometry in Houston, Texas.  She was a practicing optometrist when she enrolled her 6-month-old son in the Early Childhood Music program at Texas Christian University.   The experience made such an impression on her that she decided to make a career change to teaching Music Together.  She completed her Music Together teacher training in July 2007 and is a registered Music Together teacher.  She also teaches Music Together at Kinderfrogs preschool on Texas Christian University campus.  Seeing young children enjoy music is a constant source of inspiration for her.
