Lori Christ
|
Lori Christ, a native of northeast Ohio, completed her Bachelor’s degree from Wells College, fulfilling requirements for concentrations in piano performance as well as music history and literature. During that time she also began teaching piano and organized and participated in numerous concerts and performances throughout New York. Ms. Christ completed her Master’s degree in piano pedagogy from Texas Christian University while also holding an administrative position with the Youth Orchestra of Greater Fort Worth. She has been an instructor in the TCU Music Preparatory Department since 1985 and has also been Assistant Director since 1987. Ms. Christ is active in music teacher organizations, including Fort Worth Music Teachers’ Association, serving on many committees and on the Board of Directors. She lives in Fort Worth with her husband and two sons.
