Doris Torres Doris Torres has a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a minor in Spanish from Texas Christian University. She will complete a Masters of Music Education degree in Piano Pedagogy in May 2009 She has studied piano under Dr. Ruth Morrow of Wichita Falls Texas, Ms. Judith Solomon, and is currently studying with Mr. Harold Martina. Music has always played a major part in her life. She began studying piano at the age of five and also played french horn at the age of twelve. She participated in the TAPPS (Texas Association of Private Parochial Schools) music competitions throughout high school and always placed in the first divisions. Ms. Torres has been teaching piano privately for the past four years to all ages with the help of Dr. Ann Gipson and is currently the piano teacher at Mr. E's music store. |
