Leah Van Allen graduated Summa Cum Laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Pedagogy. She is pursing her Masters of Music in Piano Pedagogy at TCU, studying with Dr. Ann Gipson and Pianist-in-Residence, Mr. Harold Martina. She is a student member of MTNA, secretary of TCU MTNA collegiate chapter, and member of the Texas Federation Club. Her academic achievements include the Elizabeth Brient Smith Piano Pedagogy Award in 2007, and she is a member of the Pi Kappa Lamba music society. She has had solo performances at Baylor University Piano Hour, completed a senior recital, performed at TMTA with a BU Ensemble, was keyboardist for First Baptist Church Boerne, and is currently working on her Masters degree recital. Ms. Van Allen was a student teacher at Baylor University and gained extensive experience with group teaching during her time as piano instructor at Waco Piano Center. Her passion is teaching students of all ages the beauty of music and the piano.
