Dazheng Zhu teaches Piano at all levels plus Music
Theory and Ear Training. She holds Bachelor of Music degree from The
University of TX at Arlington in Piano Performance and Master degree" MA" from
Texas Christian University in Piano Pedagogy. She also studied with
Professors Joseph Bloch and Rudolph Firkusny, both of the Julliard
School in ShangHai Music Conservatory 1983-1985. Ms. Zhu is a very
active private piano teacher in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with over
30 years' teaching experience and also is a Piano Instructor
at The University of TX at Arlington and Tarrant County College-
South East Campus. Her students have entered state level Piano
Contests in San Antonio in 2001 through 2006. Many won first and
second places in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Ms.Zhu has also given
numerous piano recitals in China, New York, And the Dallas-Fort
Worth area. Among her many performances, Ms. Zhu's piano recital
was broadcast on Arlington's Cable Television Education Program
in 1993and, more recently, she performed at Steinway Hall in the
Artist Program's Series Program. Her Many Honors and Awards include:
- Honor
of Magna Cum Laude 1995.
- Winner of
the University of Arlington Concerto Competition Award, Outstanding
Musician and International Leadership Awards, plus
Many Scholarship Awards.
- Who's
Who in American Colleges and Universities.
Ms. Zhu has also judged
many piano competitions and contests. She is a member of
the Texas music Teacher Association, the Fort Worth Music Teacher
Association, the Arlington Music Teacher Association and
the Dallas Music Teacher Association, and also a member of the
